Ok!! Last couple of days it hit 80 degrees!!!

A buddy said he seen a Black Rat Snake!! No snakes for me yet, but I did manage to find 5 Fence Lizards, and 1 more Woods Frog, and a bat!!! So after my daughters 1rst birthday party today, i may do some road cruisin to see what's lurking about, and it may rain, so I may see more frogs and salamanders... later Shawn

Unfortunately its going to drop 50 degrees between now and Friday afternoon ; ; Im in VA and our weather patterns are very similar. God I hate the mid atlantic somtimes ; ;

So far in 2007, anoles, fence lizards, spotted salamanders, blackbelly salamanders, wood frogs, spring peepers, e. worm snakes, earth snakes, and a northern brown snake, all at my home or within 30 minutes of my home. I hope this will be a great year! We seem enudated with 2 foot N. copperheads. I caught 5 in our garden, woodpile and other "hiding places in the yard.

Oldsnakeman, have you found those Coppers this year already?, and Atrox88 where in Va are you? happy herping, Raining like crazy here and it's like 40 something degrees, I may go out and see if any water turtles got washed out of hiding?.. later Shawn
