I placed a wanted ad for an Egyptian Cobra a couple weeks ago. The only reply I got was from someone in Cameroon who said they breed them. Not what I had in mind. But can you import an Egyptian Cobra just by ordering one from Cameroon and paying them. They said it would be a 7 hour flight.

I don't buy anything off the net unless I personally know the person I'm dealing with. But thats just me.You might get more responses on your add if you put better info on your profile so people have a clue who they're dealing with. Marty

Well....
I just put something in my profile last night. It won't get any better than that. I wanted to buy a snake not find someone to be my sweetheart! Ha!

I wouldn't expect ANYONE on this site to take you very seriously when you fill out your profile in such a way.
Perhaps you need to think about what you hope to achieve by being a member of VenomousReptiles.org and give the site and it's members the respect they deserve.

Since you asked one of the few questions I don't mind answering for someone with a profile that makes me assume they are buying illegally...
No, you certainly can't LEGALLY just order a cobra from Cameroon and go pick it up. IF you lived somewhere where they are legal to keep OR you had a permit you could order from someone there who would pay an exporter there, who would send it to an importer here, who would have it inspected by F&G at one of the few airports that accept overseas venomous shipments. Then you would go to the airport, show your permit and pick it up. All of this would be ridiculously expensive for one snake.
However, most likely none of that matters, because if someone from Cameroon contacted you by email, it's a scam. Run.

Gollee Gee, Rabbits.
As much as you claim to hate the administrators and posters here. You just can't stay away can you!
Wish the administrators would just "export" your happy go unlucky cloaca.
Cheesing it up,
