Hi Again and thanks for the replys to my other question.
My large female is probably now gravid and I have seperated her from the male. However, I have another smaller female and wondered if anyone had ever kept two females together safely. The large female is about 15 inches and the smaller about 10 inches. The Vivarium is 4ft long 2ft high and 2ft deep so plenty of space for them to avoid each other should they want to.
What are your thoughts folks , has anyone witnessed the albolabris cannabalism that i've heard about?
Many thanks,
Alan

Hey Alan!
How are ya mate?
Regarding whitelips, though I have zero personal experince I do know 2 guys who bred the hell out of them. Litteraly, they were pushing out 100 babies a year!
Anyway, they require a higher humidity. I would say daily misting is esential and occasional soaks seemed to do them good as well.
Considering the over eager feeding response of most females, as well as obtaining a decent size I would personaly recomend keeping them seperate. The females my friends had were all very eager feeders, striking at anything and everything that walked by their cage. I could see them having a go at eachother very easily.
Wel;l bud, glad to see ya around as usual! Its warming up here on my side of the pond and hopefully i will have some snake relavant subjects to talk about once things start slithering about. Its sucks not having a collection to talk about anymore ; ; Well, a venomous collection that is. I dont think most here would care to hear of my trials and tribulations with the genus Pituophis lol
Take care mate!!!
All the very best,
Jeremy

LOL I just noticed that my answer regarding humdity was alittle bit novice LOL I didnt read the question, just saw the title.
Good luck with them bud! and be safe! Their babies can be, um, very fun to get feeding.
Watch your fingers!

Hi Jeremy me old matey!!! Good to see you.
Thanks for your reply, i've now sorted it so all 3 are seperate. Funny you know, the 05 pair that have bred I only bought just recently and the guy that had them previous kept them bone dry!
My other female is an 06 and I bought her along with another male that I lost unfortunately at Hamm in Germany. Both were complete bu**ers to get feeding , unlike a pair I had in the early 90's that fed from the word go.
Anyway, how come you have no hots now mate, what happened? Are you living somewhere that keeping isn't legal?
And what else is happening in your life?
Great to be in touch again Jeremy , look after yourself,
Al
