I only remember ever reading one snake poem. It is "A Narrow Fellow In The Grass" by Emily Dickinson. I submitted it to Strays. It was kinda hard to get it to look at all like a poem. Maybe they will post it, maybe not.
Here is a link to it:

Anyway, does anyone know of any other snake poems?

I love snake poems.. I only have one and i would love to share it with you if I may.
Snakes, snakes, they make me hum.
Snakes, snakes, tickle my bum.
They slither and sway in the grass.
I love a nice snake poking my ass..

Desert Scour
©1991, 2001 by Raksha
...sailed across the blast-furnace
landscape, wheeling
The white-hot sky in great lazy circles,
Shimmering on the molten
Air, tasting the wind fluid
with dust, lapping up the whole
Horizonless expanse until you spiral down
To a trackway on the desert,
a ripple mark on the surface,
a wave-crest focused into
coils of sand.
Her eyes are thorns, her teeth
Flames, her scales
serrated sand -- she is
Desert Scour, and if you
Pour yourself into her life you can
Taste the hot venom as it becomes your blood,
The desiccating wind that forms your breath -- you can
Quench your starved soul in solitude and submerge
Forever under the vast
ocean of scorched sand.

I know.......but do you?
Regards,
Mark.

I translated the Spanish poem using Google Language Tools. The words sound like they would be part of a song! Chicka-boom chicka-boom chicka-boom chicka-boom! Those words weren't anywhere in the poem, it just seemed like that kinda song. :P
Becky's poems are truly inspiring. Desert Scour sounds like its looking down on a Sidewinder or a Horned Viper? I think I met that Nantucket guy with the bucket of snakes; a bit odd but as he walks around Nantucket he certainly gives the snakes a lot of fresh air!
