Just so i have this term right, the first CB animals from collected parents are F1. then, when those F1 animals breed, there offspring are F2 and so forth.
F1 - first generation offspring.
F2 - second generation offspring.

Yes this is simple Mendalian genetics terms. The P1 is the parental generation. The offspring of the P1 are the F1 or First Filial generation. The next would be the F2 or sencond Filial generation and so on.

ok, so i am clear...captive born animals from partent that i collected would be considered F1. If i rasie those babies to adult and breed them, those babies would be F2. Correct?
