Photo posting in the photo albums on this site requires the downsizing of the file size of most digital photos -- or at least it should. A good program for this is available for FREE at www.Download.com It's called "PLiska Image Resizer", and it will resize huge batches of photos at time, or singles.
You can download it at the following URL:

I usually choose 600 pixels as the width to email, and it will automatically make them JPEG files. Most computer screens these days are 1028 pixels wide, and I wouldn't go above that.
Generally speaking, it will take a 1.5mb file and make it about 53Kb. It's the best program that I have used for this purpose. For PowerPoints, you could size them at around 1000 pixels (wide) for good resolution. It automatically maintains the original photo ratio by the way.
Once it resizes them, it will place them in the same folder as the photo that you chose to be resized, and will rename them with the suffix "resized".
Please utilize this program when posting photos in the photo albums. Some people don't have broadband and it takes forever to download pics. Additionally, it saves storage space, and takes nothing away from the quality of the photo!!!
Thanks,
webmaster
