Ok, I stand corrected...the bill did get re-voted and passed the second time. I don't know why they can do that, but oh well...just another reason to hate politics.
Now, I've also heard that the bill did not make it to the senate floor in time today so it died...can you confirm or deny this?

I stand corrected as well... my apologies. I do understand that it failed the vote from the full Senate. Can anyone confirm that?

It was then snuck through and passed on a totally unrelated bill!
