Man I wish I could get to some of the shows you all go to, I may not be an expert like Greg or John Z but I still am a reptile lover. I just wish we could have some shows here in WV. the closest show to me is the " all Ohio show" no venomous and the show is not very big..

Shawn, yep, some of the best reptile shows are often a long drive. Some folks plan vacations around attending the shows, and others plan snake hunting trips along the way. If you can find others in your area who are also interested, you all might get together and share gasoline and hotel expenses, and make a trip to a far off show. Some of the best to keep in mind are the Columbia SC show (fall one will be bigger), the Daytona, FLA show (non-venomous but big), and the Hamburg, PENN shows (4 times a year). Hopefully, some of the new shows will be closer to where you live.

Well JohnZ we will see, my in-laws live in PA and we are gonna drop off the kids to them for a few weeks this summer and then go up and get them a few weeks later, maybe the time frame will be right, but if not I will just have to plan ahead and see what happens, I just landed an RV, I am working on getting it legal!!! It only has 38,000 original miles on it, it sleeps 4 or 6 if you bunk with the spouse?! Any ways it may be next year before I have the insides remodeled and ready to go, but that does give me a whole year to save some money up so I can use it, and also purchase some really cool herps.. But in the mean time I will just herp around here and then I am still going to Texas sometime this summer.
