Since it has been so hot and humid, I have decided to take my pressure washer and turn it down to a mist and spray all my enclosures ( I have coconut bedding in them) anyways my Brook's King Snake started striking at the water and biting viciously!!!! (Crazy herp!) He has a huge water bowl with fresh cold water, so I know he was not doing this cause he was thirsty, has anyone else seen something similarily crazy, or is it just my herps are nuttz?
Just posting/wondering?

Shawn, I would be carefull about using a pressure washer, even if it is producing just cold mist, because they often have had detergents and chemicals used in them, not to mention the possible contamination with oils from the compressor itself.

I believe they only have soap and stuff in it if you put the soap in yourself and set the pressure washer to a specific setting (at least in the model i have that is the case).
the mist may have confused your snake to think that it was striking at you or something else. my tree boa will strike every now and then at the fog from a humidifier, similar to what you are describing.

JohnZ and others, my pressure washer is an electric one, and i have not put any chemicals in it...But you may be right about being confused about what he was striking at, anyways it was kind of funny to watch (crazy snake) anyways thanks for reading
