Hey Shawn, I won't speak for anyone else, but I think its safe to say that anyone who claims to be an "expert" ISN'T - I know I don't. I'm learning new things on a daily basis and I learn just as much from folks new to the field as some of the legends of the field. It's all about sharing our discoveries. If your snake is a Texas, that's still a big honking rat snake no matter what. Look forward to seeing the pics. Rob

Ok, I am still trying to get a good pic with my camera. I am either always at College or work during the day, and when I am home it is like Mid-night and trying to get a good pic of a pure white snake in the dark with the flash seems not to want to work with me?! Any ways I did get a better measurement, I am 5ft 11 and when I held him and streached my arms out he is 6 inches longer than my outstreached arms which would make him a few inches over 6ft! I am now leaning towards him just being a Texas Rat and not a Trans-Pecos Rat, but either way he is really stunning and just a plain kitten to handle! I will get a pic on here soon along with a pic of my Eastern Hognose that my cousin caught a few weeks back, until then I know what you mean Rob, if someone actually calls themselves an expert then they are probally full of crap, for we all are still learning everyday, that is why I say I am far from an expert, cause I am always being corrected and I am always learning something new about something I thought I knew. thanks Rob, JohnZ and many others on here, I am learning alot..
Shawn
