Our friend & frequent poster Rob Carmichael emailed me tonight with a bit of startling news:
"I just got out of the hospital after a near death experience - hit an 18 wheeler head on going 50 mph - it happened in a blink of an eye. I'm pretty beat up -broken ribs (air bag didn't deploy), severe concussion, neck/back injuries....but I'm breathing and walking so I'm counting my blessings.

I pray for your speedy recovery. I guess 'dangerous animals' are nothing compared to several tons of speedy steel.

I just spoke to Rob through e-mail a few days ago about indigos. Very sorry to hear about this.
Rob, you are a fortunate person to survive such an encounter. I wish you the best in your recovery.
