Sorry Guys South African, love atheris and dwaf bitis, only been in the game for about 7 years only recantly aquiring a pair of atheris Nitchei, antheris Ceratephora and a piar of atheris hispidas and not much is known about ceratephora. I ve recieved alot of mixed caresheet information which tend to clash with one another in terms of temp, feeding, caging, and general care so if anyone can help I would be very gratefull considering there are very few of these lovely vipers in South Africa

I kept ceratophora while in Washington State (just to clear that up for folks who see Ga on my profile)
In my experience they do well at vary cool temps similar to the cool climate of the Usambara Mountains. I kept mine at 60 deg F at night and about 75-78 deg F during the day. My set up was simple… A tall 20 gal aquarium with cypress mulch substratum, and a potted plant I also had a sturdy branch for climbing. You can provide a big water dish if you want but I used a small one since the snake only hydrated (by my observations) while being misted. Everything else is basic. Thanks alot i just needed to clarify the care process have you got any info on hispida and how long do your live for in captivity
