			In terms of pressure at the tip of the fang, I would be a good deal more worried about a large elapid (big cobra or king cobra, mulga snake, that sort of thing) giving you a really good, hard chew than about any viper's strike.

			Gaboons do give a strong bite. Although, from exracting I may have to put the bushmasters, eastern diamondbacks and many of the cobras ahead of the curve. Cobras are like little jaguars when they clamp down on to something.
