stopgetinpopped let me start off by saying i do not know if you was refering to me or not but incase you were number one i am not a cronie of any type and number 2 when i am a little heated about something it is m god given right as an American to speak anyway i see fit it is called freedom of speech plain and simple and why do you have to always attack someone we are not bothering you we are talking about facts and whats going on and trying to see if people are going to help this weekend thats all so please stop telling people to go other places and calling people names thats not very nice of you and to please you i will calm the cussing down out of respect for the forum

What is needed is a suitable alternative to the Ban being proposed. It is not enough to oppose with talk of 'rights' and economic impact. Give them an easy way out. they get the regulation they seek, and have to do no work. Set them up as heros with a proposal that protects the public by imposing strict guidelines for caging and bite/safety protocols. USARK is not fully up and running yet, so it is unable to address this issue... but if someone responsible, articulate and in VA wants to use our model legislation please contact me.

your very welcome stopgetinpopped i am not here to offend anyone honestly and i do know many people come here to read and some may not be of age and i should of thought of that before shooting my sailor mouth off lol but i do find it very funny how every since that guy had his fer de lance stolen and noone knows where it went to counties in Virginia have been really plotting to ban snakes i mean the general public wants it more than anyone and you know how politics are they are after one thing and one thing only and thats votes they do not care about the people or there loved ones (reptiles included) i want to help in anyway i can to stop this stuff from spreading to far

MoccasinMan i do agree with that and there should be a guideline for proper enclosures and bite/safety protocols that may work if it is proposed right i think that is a good idea because i am a firm believer in making sure the snakes do not escape and to insure it with over caution might be a lil silly but it is something that has kept me and my family safe all this time and good protocalls is a must saftey is a major factor in dealing with this issue if we can ensure them saftey the idea may work

I am in S va Andrew but its only moving this way, If your interested, i will do all i can.
NOW, on another matter
I am REALLY sick of the fact that when nick posts something, which isnt a bash, in which he is trying to do something positive for the community, people flame up, and attack him. If he chooses to be here in a professional manner then we welcome him (almost EVERYONE HERE DISAGREES W SOMEONE ELSE) SO PLEASE< Stop flaming him on the board, this is America, he has a right to ask questions and be here. I have been on this forum since it STARTED(like uh week one) and working with the SHHS since holding membership banners at shows and passing out newletters (yea we did that). SO PLEASE, check your gd attitudes at the door and if you dont have something positive or enlightening to post, keep it to yourself. I have never seen any of his videos (maybe my ignorance) and i tried to find them on youtube nor have we had any long interaction so ya cant say im his buddy or croney or whatever. I just believe that the only way to counter ignorance or misinformation (on anyones part) is with the correct information,

ok ok ok...Mocasin brought up a great point! if I get up there and do one of my "famous speeches and do a poetic song and dance they wil just say "great kid you convinced us, now what do you propose!" Mocasin is right...in litigation its not enough to prove your case but you must give them an alternative....so say for instance I sugest that they make for permits and the permits cost money! they may like that..or that we still be allowed to keep at least Native venomous snakes becuase the anti-serum crofab is at every hospital! eaither way we have to give some...thats the best case senarios..we come out wiht something...like today.. i met with my NEW AND BETTER attorney and we will most lilkly work out a deal...I must move out the snake but can keep the lizards...thats how it works...

Phobos very well said and i will keep my potty mouth to myself and speak on a professional level here even though my grammer sucks and i am sorry for that i sucked at english when i was in school lol and Jared very well put i love the education i get on here and all the advice that comes my way it has helped me alot over the past just by reading over some post and responces from some very well educated men here i think this forum is a great thing to have and the drama needs to be left at the door so we can learn and teach and actually get to know each other better within this community
