This was The Best Show in many years. With record vendors, record attendees there was lots going on that most do not see. We had a number of non venomous snakes ( one being over 12' long)that had escaped. Most were recaptured before vendors even showed up Saturday morning. That was just an example of things most do not see. I am going to try and cover most of everyones concerns.
1) the puppies that were for sale were weined but still like to suckel. The lady was making more of a stinker about them being CKC Registered. I know who's pups they were talking about and HE would not sale any animals much less puppies if they were not ready to go to a good home. Dogs/Puppies are pets too and we do not descrimanate!
2) I have no idea why anyone would put a viper and a diamondBack together? This should have been brought up to that vendor.
3) WC animals: as long as they are legally collected and are outwardly healthy, we have no issues with them.
4) displaying multi animals in same container: This is something we discourage. It does not break any Repticon's rules or Regulations.....Yet!
5) Un Healthy looking Animals/ Dirty Containers: We have said before and I will say it again...We can't fix something if we do not see it. We do our best to look things over in Columbia but we miss alot. So why would you wait till a week after the show to bring it to our attention? I am at the info table 90% of the time and Danny is in the Venomous area/Hot Room all the time and it is hard to over look the both of us. Come find us, we will do our best to correct the problems you find.
Like most of my post you can find my contact information but here it is again:

no I wasn,t kidding. I mentioned a couple guys that had two 50 gal drums full of cottons. many of them dead and they were selling them. they told me and another herper that they were all taken from sparkleberry swamp. as usual I got flamed and dropped the subject.
