		    | And how do you get rid of them?
I know they're not mites. They are bigger, and they looks almost like tiny dog ticks.

I've killed the ones I've seen, but they're coming back.

I've only found a few, but I don't want it to turn into any more.. I just need to know how to get rid of them and how you get them, so that I can prevent it in the future.

 Thanks,
 Jon Short

		    | They come free of charge from the Tick store... www.sticknticks.com
Like any paracytic creature they are passed from one host to another through a number of methods. I pick the large ones off or dab their bodies with some Provent-a-mite on a Q-tip. I also spray their cage now and in 10-14 days so you get any others that hatch out in that time span.

Finally, I use a small piece of Hotshot pest strip I leave in their cage for long term protection.

		    | Thanks Al.
I e-mailed you about a week ago asking you a question. I wanted to know if you would be interested in trying out my snake hooks.

If you are interested, please tell me the size you want so that I can make you one.

 Thanks again,
 Jon Short
