I'm desperately in need of a mentor. It's not because I want to rush out and buy my first snake; I'll only do that when I completely understand behaviorial patterns. I really want/need a mentor in order to receive some hands on experience that I can use on my application to Veterinary school in one year. I know being a mentor is probably a pain but if some one could bite the bullet and help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for the email Dr. Garsik. I know Palm Beach Gardens pretty well; I played in some golf tournaments up there(almost qualified for the Honda Classic at Mirasol in '05 but barely missed it ). On another note, do you have to currently own venomous in order to join VenoM? I think I make the requirement intellectually(my last IQ test was 138 but I don't take much stock in the online ones and that was four years ago) but I should probably have it verified. Anyway, thanks again

Joining VenoM does not require ownership of anything and belonging to Mensa is not a prerequisite.
You can join if you want.
