I guess it's about time to venomoid all my snakes, since I'm about to have a baby and the risk is just too great to keep them around with their glands intact. What do you guys think?

You all should expect to receive your invitations to the ice skating party in Hell by next April 1st. ;)

Trust me, TT, I've known your stance on venomoids for quite awhile now and agree with it about 14 gazillion percent. I figured it was a joke, but you can still invite me to your ice skating party if you like.

Nope, the only kids I'm currently planning on have scales and fangs and venom. Never believe anything I post on April 1st. :)

Well, that's good news I guess, but I can't help but think that a few more Ms. TT's would make the world a better place (for snakes at least!).

RE. venomoids.... it reminds me of the old firearms collectors' rule-of-thumb about people who take a collector-grade military rifle and "sporterize" it for hunting, etc. They basically take a $500 rifle and spend $300 turning it into a $200 rifle. Only with venomoiding snakes, it's more like taking something priceless and spending $300 (or whatever) to make it into something utterly worthless.
