doesn't this go against the 14 amendment of the constitution? here is part of it:
"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
aren't pythons property? and there is not any evidence proving they are dangerous and a threat, so why is this bill even here?
passing this law would deny us of our property and is therefore unconstitutional

Peter, that is why they are meeting to bring it to a vote.
That is the "without due process of law" part.
Once they vote to deprive you of your pythons, or other rights for that matter, "due process" has been served, and what the Constitution says your rights are, no longer means squat........
However, you do have the right to vote against any of the nitwhits in congress who vote against pythons, and in the next election hopefully remove them from office.
