catenatus Rob ?
LOL. I almost said catenatus until I realized this question was limited to Crotalus. My favorite Sistrurus is certainly ctaenatus, and c. catenatus may be my favorite rattler period.
As for Crotalus; horridus, willardi, lepidus and adamant us stand out as being some of my favorites.
For me, this question is almost as touch as the ‘What is your favorite species?” question on member profiles here. It’s touch.. I like all Crotalus.
C. horridus maybe, but I still can’t say I could choose one over another.
Take Care,
-John Mendrola.

No way to pick just one !
I sure like timber & canebrake rattlesnakes, eastern diamondback rattlesnakes, rock rattlesnakes, ridge-nosed rattlesnakes, and black-tailed rattlesnakes.
There are plenty of others that are also fantastic.
I have never met a rattlesnake that I did not like.
Best Regards

I'm with you guys! I've never met one I didn't like.
It's really hard to narrow down to one.. or even two. Heck.. five!
Thanks for the responses!

I presently have 6 Crotalus spp. c. atrox, c. scutulatus, c. molossus, c. mitchelli, c. cerberus, and c. cerastes. I like them all and am hoping to collect all the different spp. found here in Arizona.
