Like I was afraid and predicted in REXANO Constrictor FAQ at the end:
http://www.rexano.org//Pythons/Python_Bills_FAQ.pdf
the federal bills even if passed would be hard to enforce, so states will introduce their own total constrictor and gator bans

note these are not technically new bills, it is just expanding the definitions of existing 'dangerous or whatever" animals. that is why I always say: do not throw any species (big cats, primates, etc..) to the wolves, kill bills, since once they pass the legislation, adding new species (cosntrictors, hots) is much easier next year.

Yep, it is adding to bills that are all ready on the books. And making the laws in states much worse.

I still have many pages to create with so many new anti exotic legislations, but for now what we have on REXANO home page, www.rexano.org linking to individual states is basically reptile bills in FL, SC, RI, GA,
In IL and Virginia adding primates as banned animals to existing regulation on exotics (I would watch/worry for adding reptiles)..
In New York, NASTY, changing agri code 370 from making you responsible (misdemeanor) if your exotic bites anybody to making it felony and BAN on all wild animals from possession in NY.
OK has anti predator bills and shell bill (text still missing) dangerous animal act, could be anything later on, MO the usual anti big cat bill, etc...keep checking, I likely forgot something, too many to list and many more appear every day
