According to the news report that aired this morning on WIS-TV(NBC)out of Columbia, the Ball Python( a nice-looking reduced-pattern snake) did't even belong to this "Tony", but to some Black guy who says that he was paying the perp to take care of it while he moved. They interviewed him this morning, and he emphasized that if he'd known something like this would happen, he never would have trusted the guy with that snake, and he also emphasized that the snake was very gentle and not dangerous. The victim(the HUMAN victim)had told the perp that he was terrified of snakes earlier that day, so when he later told the moron to turn down his stereo, that's when the guy got the bright idea to show up with the python and use it to intimidate him. The victim said that he squeezed the snake's throat to force it to open its mouth then tried to jab at the victim's face with the teeth before swinging it like a "baseball bat" to hit him. Yeah, just what we need...from the perspective of a snake keeper AND a South Carolinian.

I wish they gave details on whether or not the snake was injured. No animal deserves to be treated like that.
This is just one more thing to get the snake-hating public against reptile owners. He definitely deserves jail time.
