Hello everyone! Its been several years since Ive posted anything on here. I had gotten rid of my hots about 3 years ago due to a move I had to make. I gave them to a friend who recently had to move himself and I was able to get my little babies back! I have a huge Western Diamondback and a male and female prairie rattlesnake, the prairie rattlers are approx. 4 years old now. I keep all 3 of them in a huge custom made cage approx. 6 ft. long x 2 1/2 ft. wide x 2 ft. tall and they get along really well, I only seperate them to feed them. here is a picture of the cage, it may be relevant to my question.

So, heres part one of my question, how can you tell if a rattlesnake is pregnant? Now, Im pretty sure it is, my friend said they had been breeding yearly every spring. The back half of the snake is REALLY fat down toward the tail. here is a couple of pictures.

Does this snake "look" pregnant to anyone? If so, do I need to seperate it from the other snakes and what should I be providing her, if anything, differenlty than normal? Im sure I will be posting lots of updates and more questions but if anyone can help with some info I think this is a good place to start. Thanks everyone, its good to be back on venomousreptiles.org!!!

Congrats, I really couldn't tell much from the pics. About all I could say would have been, maybe... Take care, Marty
