Hey guys.. My rabbit breeder quit breeding rabbits. I have thought about piglets from Monster-Cages, but I can't seem to contact them. What is another food item I could use, or a place I can order rabbits at a good price.
I don't need that many rabbits, as I've only got two large burms, so the shipping is killing me. I've looked for local breeders, but all I can find are the pet rabbits for $10-$15 a peice.
Thanks,
Jon Short

I wish I could help. All I can do is hope my local breeder (South Florida) never goes out of business. I don't know anywhere else locally and I can't see any way you could get them shipped at a reasonable price.
I don't think you can ship USPS, or the one-price boxes might work...
BTW, is that the Savage 110FP?

Have you thought about breeding your own?It would be pretty simple to breed enough for 2 burms. Just a thought. Take care, Marty

Rodentpro has good prices on rabbits - shipping shouldn't be too bad. I once knew a guy who kept a burm for 30 years that was fed nothing but fresh road killed animals (possums, squirrels, birds, etc.)...not something I would recommend but I thought it was a pretty good use of available resources.
