I am guessing this must have been a case of anaphylactic shock? I wonder if anyone knew if he had been previously bitten? Certainly a sad day, especially for those that knew this individual.

I read somewhere that he had had previous bite(s) and even had epi pens, that were not on scene. Very sad indeed.

...especially the part where the family states that he 'turned blue within 10 min'. Very sad for everyone involved.

Poor chuck. There is the possibility of him being charged with manslaughter. This article was really unclear as to why he was arrested though.

Why did they arrest him? what did they catch him with? What was his connection to the guy that died? Did he sell the snake to them? Was it a sting operation?
It just seems random that he is being held responsible for this guys death.
