Georgia is probably about to stop having roundups. There will be someone with a table at Whigam this year promoting rattlesnakes as a beneficial predator and the harm roundups do to local snake populations and environment. Plus they are recieving alot of pressure from animal rights and general public now. Fitzgeralds roundup changed last year into a wild chicken festival, I am sure it want be to many years before Claxton makes some changes aswell. But it would'nt hurt to write to your commissioners or write the Evans County Wildllife Club they are the ones who I think sponser the Claxton Roundup. Good luck but I am pretty sure we will see changes in Georgia roundups before to long.

Georgia only has two roundups left. They are Claxton and Whigham. Whigham roundup I think is January 31 and Claxtons is either the first or second week end in March.
