Gilas are venomous. period.
not from what they eat but from a venom gland in the lower jaw.

Yep, gilas are venomous, no if, and's, or but's about it. Darts frogs however, with MAYBE the exceptions of p. bicolor and p. terribilis, lose their poison. I'm assuming you're talking about cb specimens,if they are wc, I'm not sure how much toxicity they lose, or how long it takes. With that being said, dart frogs are pretty fragile and some are very skittish. So unless you really need to handle them, I would just enjoy them your eyes, this way you don't cause any stress to the animal.
Hope this helps.

I keep poison arrow dart frogs and if they are wild caught they lose there toxicity very quickly. About two weeks. There toxcin comes form the ants they eat in the wild and the ants eat a plant that is where the poisonous come froms.I am sure that all the dendrobates lose there toxicity if there are wild caught and never have it if they are captive breed. The poison arrow dart frog is one of the most intresting frogs species and i right know am keeping the dendrobate auratus which are the green and black ones. I also have a kaluha poison arrow but i dont remember its scientific name. I also know they are the most toxic animal on earth. The toxicin is called bactractotoxcin and it causes total system shut down on the organs of the frogs preditor, and i also recomend not ever pick them up they are very fagile and if u do be careful. Frog in general are very fragel!!!
