I will be new to the south alabama (mobile) area and want to know good locations in the area to find pygmy rattlers and copperheads. Any knowledge of good locations for other herp spp. is welcomed too!
Any help before it warms will be appreciated!
Thanks

I know first hand where to see copperheads. The first time I saw a copperhead was at one of family members house. This was in west Virgina but a copperhead will live in this spot were you live too. if you can find a stack of logs, thats your place, but if you still get nada then you should find a place with lots of mice or a shed. Always rember to bring tongs or somthing with you when catching snakes, and sorry, I dont know what to tell you about pigmys except under logs and stuff like that.
ps: be carful looking for copperheads in a spot far away from sivilization or from people, you dont want to be the first to die from a copperhead do you?
