I have had many graivd females eat until within a week or so of birthing. The 4 wild caught graivd females I have had(2 copperheads, 1 speckled king, 1 emoryi) all ate up to a day or two before giving birth or laying eggs. That just happened to be feed day before they laid and all of them ate. My captive animals usually stop feeding a week or so before giving birth. As for telling if she is gravid, the only thing I can say is watch her girth. If she's that big already you probably don't have long to wait.

Is she a WC or CB ? How long have you had her ?
If she is WC have you probed her to make sure it is a female ? My females eat right up to a day or two from giving birth. Cottons give birth to live young and gravid is the word .......Fabian
