Description: Caught March 12th 2002, in a backyard shed in St Marys, Georgia just 1/2 mile from tidal swampland (3 houses down from the previous catch from last year). Discovered by the surprised homeowner, coiled under the seat of a riding lawnmower! The temp was close to 70F at 1 PM (1300) and the snake, although very agitated, only struck once. Complete set of 14 rattles with button and very skittish disposition. Very nice pinkish background color which does not show up too well in the photos. Rescued by Karl H. Betz
