Description: This was my first ever gila monster ever! it was like a fairy tail. I was walking in a little gully with my friend from England and he was complaining about the heat and I just kept saying "Blake we'r not going to find anything". and I replyed "Yes we will just wait, gullys always have something good to offer if you look hard enough". Just as I said that I spoted about 26 feet away from me the movement of pink and black beaded scales and cried out " Chris! Gila monster! In that bush right there!" and he spoted it right away. I would also like to add this. I'm new to venomousreptiles.org and I'm 16 years old and so far I have had the honor of meeting Thomas who is a very nice man with a lot of knowledge under his belt. As it turns out I work at the World Of Snakes in Costa' Rica to and I started working around three weeks after he did so we jsut barely missed each other. I don't know where I'm going with this so I'll just hush here but I wouldn't mind any advice on how to find some more gila monsters. I live in Stillwater, Oklahoma, but I'm always taking trips to west texas and southern arizona. My e-mail address is Chirstianskatr16@aol.com
Thanks in advance ;)
