Description: This individual was bitten while working inside an industrial sized chicken house. He was bitten when he stepped over a feeder. The fang marks are actually on the other side of the leg, but there is no bruising there. The species most likely responsible for this bite is the Northern Copperhead, Agkistrodon contortrix mokasen. They are common in the area.
