Description: One of the highlights of the trip was a stay at Corbets View Lodge in the Knuckles National Heritage Wilderness Area. The host was extremely accomodating and was an excellent cook. The herping was insane, so we spent the majority of the day exploring and taking photos of species we'd only seen in books, and then we slept like rocks after an invigorating (read-cold) shower and a filling dinner. This is a truly remote part of the world and only a fortunate few will ever get to experience it. Wildlife available for viewing in this area: elephants, water buffalo, leopards, and dozens of reptile species. For more info, go to www.CorbetsView.com I HIGHLY recommend a stay at this one-of-a-kind lodge.
