Description: These two are guests at Steve Irwin's Crocodile Farm in Queensland. It is called Australia Zoo.
These small snakes are ambushers, and use the leaf litter to good advantage. They are sometimes called Deaf Adder as they rely on camoflauge, and will not move. They are slow to bite, but strike fast, and bite deep when they do. Most bites are a result of handling, or stepping on them. They rate just below the Tiger and Brown Snakes in toxicity.
