VenomousReptiles.org Photo Albums | Snakes for Identification Upload a Photo Photo Albums Help back next B. asper  Submitted by simon buxton (Scuba_Si) on 09/15/06 Description: Hi, I was led to believe that this is not a B. asper by my guide, but i cant find any info on what it is. It was about 4-5 feet long, and the guide was very wary of it as it causes a lot of deaths in that area apparently. I was in the Upper Amazon, Equador. Rio Napo if that helps! Despite what the guide said about this snake, it is Bothrops asper. ~Greg~
