Vasquez (EdVA) on 04/30/07 Description: This pic was in the news today ID'd as a Copperhead; but without markings that I can see, I'd like to know how to ID this snake. Can anyone help ? Are those pits on his head, or just his nostrils ? The snake's head appears to be kind of narrow, and his eyes appear to be "Round". Is this an identifying trait ? Thank to All ! Naja, probably kaouthia ( Monocle Cobra ). Bart B.
