Description: These are pics of a Water Snake I caught here in Limestone Co., AL. This Snake shows a lot of the Belly Coloration you would expect from a Redbelly Water Snake, and it makes me wonder if it could be. The Snake was roughly 24" Long and appears to be in Great Shape.
Now I know that we are not thought to have Redbellies here, but this one really got my mind wondering.
The next 4 pics are of the same Snake, I tried to give some good shots to use in ID, hope these 5 pics help.
