Description: I found this snake in my pool in Ciudad Colon, San Jose, Costa Rica. It moves like a constrictor and was not very active at all (it was maybe tired from spending a few hours in the pool). The head scales and description matches Urotheca Pachyura but I am not 100% sure, since it also matches the Smooth Earth Snake but is just a little big to be that.
