Description: Obtaining this stunning juvenile banded king cobra was the culmination of a 20 year quest to work with one. Although I keep a number of kinds, I've never owned a banded king - the Holy Grail of snakes in my book. This snake is a voracious rodent feeder so I anticipate rapid growth. This handsome fella now resides at the Wildlife Discovery Center in Lake Forest, IL. A big thanks goes to Dr. Earl Turner for making this possible.
