Hollister (Herpo) on 11/11/01 Description: These are the tongs which Dr. Pillstrom donated to the Species in Peril symposium in OK city, spring '01. They were signed by him and then the handle and tongs were gold plated. One other pair, unsigned, was given to Dr. Pillstrom. Since he made his first tongs around 1954, he was the pioneer in snake tongs. These are a piece of history and a tribut to Dr. Pillstrom.
