Betz (Buzztail1) on 11/15/01 Description: Caught August 15th 2001, in a backyard in St Marys, Georgia just 1/2 mile from tidal swampland. Discovered by a large pet dog in the darkness at about 9:30 PM, was very agitated and struck readily. Extremely fat male, with the skin between the scales plainly visible. Incomplete set of rattles and very aggressive disposition. Initially appeared to have a grayish background color which deepened to a nice pink after a month in captivity. Caught by Karl H. Betz
