Description: A lady in my community (in Southeastern Georgia) recently gave me this photo of her cat. It was well on the road to recovery by the time this photo was taken. It had been bitten by a "small rattlesnake" and had lost most of its fur and much tissue and skin. The skin blackened and cracked and had to be cut away. But, the cat survived with only some generic Benedryl-like medication.
