Description: This is Terrence. He is the largest Coastal Taipan on record, measuring 290cm and weighing in a 6.2kg. Terrence died in 2000, and is now in the collection of the Queensland Museum. A beautiful cast of the snake is part of the Museum's Wildlife of the Cape York Peninsula exhibit.
