For me, Boaphile Plastics has the best and safest cage for venomous snakes I've ever seen, with some minor mods. that you must take care of, and do yourself. I'm ordering a 422T and can't wait, knowing my little 12" rattler will be much more patient.
What sold me is the safety, having a full divider, that can be easily removed, and modified. Modification includes, putting sliding doors over an opening at the bottom rear of divider on either side, so I can seal off one side to work, never taking momma out of cage. Jeff is installing dual heaters, separtate lights, thermostat, and keyed door locks, (cannot remove the key without locking the door)all for a very reesonalbe price, I might add.
Having a top or front slider entry door system for venomous snakes just doesn't make sense, as they are more apt and accurate striking. Glad to find some info. on this site of Boaphile.
So, if you are thinking about keeping venomous snakes especially inside your home(not recom)(but if as crazy as I), I would strongly recom. Boaphile Plastics!
