Excellent Field Guide
Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Description: A great new Field Guide to Texas Snakes by James Dixon and John Werler. Published by the University of Texas Press. Smaller and lighter and less expensive than the TEXAS SNAKES: Identification, Distribution, and Natural History, by the same two authors which was reviewed below by Doug, David, and Eric. The only real negative to this book is that the excellent color identification photos are a bit on the small size. Best Regards JohnZ
