I have two pair of Snakeguardz, I was very happy when I first heard of these, I checked them out on line and liked what I saw and read. I ordered the first pair and was very pleased with what I got, light, about 9oz., easy and quick to put on and off, and don't get as hot as Snake boots, which I have a pair of Redwing leather 17" boots that I have worn for about 30 years, and still are in good shape. I found a local dealer and got a second pair of the Snakeguardz. I wear the Snakeguardz now when ever I go Herping,or showing herps, have been hit many times without a problem, on the "Snakeguards", southeast Alabama gets "Hot", Love em!!!

Lightest weight, coolest, contoured to fit, ad said was field tested in Texas. I have been hit twice while hunting wearing these and no penetration. Wore another brand before, Rattlers, snake got tangled in my bootlace. Nothing like that can happen with these. They cover from toe to knee weigh 10 ounces, very cool on hot days.
