In its simplest description, Vyper Reptile Pro is a database used to track your snakes from the day they join your collection until the day they leave. A few years ago we were approached by several snake breeders who wanted our company to develop a husbandry program that allowed them to get in, get out and get back to their snakes and making money. They wanted a solution that did not track every aspect of snake husbandry, as they thought many current solutions were just plain overkill. As one breeder put it: "When a snake leaves my business, I do not need 500 pounds of records left behind, I just need to be able to provide the customer with essential information to show the money they paid was for a snake that was well taken care of." So off we went... Our original goal was to make Vyper Reptile Pro a cross-reptile solution, however we soon realized that it was going to be a full blown snake husbandry software and we let it take that direction. Since Vyper Reptile Pro was designed by snake breeders, and tweaks and refinements set by breeders all across the USA as well as other countries, Vyper Reptile Pro has truly become the "New Standard In Snake Husbandry Software". We produced the first Rack and Bin booklet which allows the user to track data for many days before they have to enter it into the system, letting the user decide when they want to add data. Vyper Reptile Pro as a standard feature has a built in Invoice System. No more using third party software such as MS Word to generate a customer invoice. One of the more requested items wanted in the software was a "Genetic Guarantee" that would produce a form which could be given to a customer to show that the captive bred snake they purchased was produced by a specific Sire and Dame. This form contains photos of the Sire, Dam, Offspring as well as your company logo and your guarantee to the customer.
