Description: Sizes: 4" - 13" wide -- These bowls look and feel like real rock but are actually made of high quality durable poly resin. The bowls are super easy-to-clean, stain resistant, dishwasher safe & heavy enough to prevent tip over. The bowls are available in space saving corner design and natural free form. The assorted shapes, sizes and natural earth tone colors will keep your terrarium looking great.

Poor materials used

My opinion is that these bowls are made of poorly chosen materials. The surface is very porous and leads to the growth of algae and bacteria. Also, being porous makes it hard to clean thoroughly. I like to spray and wipe my waterbowls with a weak bleach solution, but these bowls require long soaking and still come out grungy. I like the idea of a bowl fitting into the corner of the cage, but I dislike the choice of materials used. I no longer use these at all.

This is a lizard bowl
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months

I bought one of these a long time ago to put in with a small snake. But there is so little water in the bowl, it evaporated too quickly.
These shallow little bowls are for lizards only. If you are just getting into the snake hobby, you need bowls that are deep and large enough for your species to soak. (The exception would be desert species.) Don't waste your money on these if you are keeping snakes.
