Great Product

I travel internationally as well all over the US. The hook is nicely constructed and fits in my luggage. Just spent the weekend in the Everglades and it handled what I dished out. Flipping logs as well as moving 4 foot gators around. On the down side, I would be careful about using it to pin big hot snakes. If you push on it too much it will slowly start to collapse even when I had the locking collars as tight as they would go by hand.

I haven't had my collapsible hook long, but it is becoming my most frequently used hook already. I like the convenience of an expandable tool especially because I travel alot to teach medical snakebite classes. The tubing used is aluminum with a full length groove to prevent rotation. The choice of material makes it very light. Once extended, 2 twistable rings tighten to hold it in place. I have used this on large vipers with ease. The handle is a soft cushion type foam found on fishing rod handles and is very comfortable.
