More than a coffee table book, I found this to be an excellent reference for coral snakes. In it, I learned that the longest Eastern Coral is a couple of inches longer than I had believed it to be. In chapter ten, Roze lays down the definition of venom as compared to poison. When I read that, I thought perhaps he had attended one of my talks. Not really, but I was glad to see that what I had been stating for years was shared by a man with kind of credentials of the author. The photographs are excellent. Anyone with the slightest interest in these beautiful animals ought to consider owning this book.
